From festive lunches and Afternoon Tea to Christmas stays, private gatherings and thoughtful gifting, West Court Retreat provides a setting to celebrate the season at a gentler pace. Whether spending Christmas away from home, gathering with family and friends, or marking the end of the year with colleagues, the season is centred on delicious food, familiar traditions and time together from arrival through to departure.

Waking up at West Court Retreat on Christmas morning captures the essence of what makes the day so special. From elegant accommodation and leisurely breakfasts to carefully planned celebrations, the Christmas break is designed to allow guests to fully enjoy the festive season. Guests can explore the surrounding walks, relax within the comfort of the manor house or simply enjoy time together. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Christmas stays are available for guests aged 16 and over. Dogs are not permitted during Christmas residential stays. Optional Nirvana Spa enhancements are subject to availability and additional charges.

25TH DECEMBER

Christmas at West Court Retreat Christmas begins with a warm welcome.

Breakfast Served in The Pavilion from 8.00am. Christmas Morning A leisurely start to the day, with time to exchange gifts, enjoy the surroundings or simply relax within the manor house. Christmas Lunch - 12.30pm or 1.30pm Champagne and canapés are served in the Drawing Room, followed by a four-course Christmas lunch in The Colours. Evening - 7.00pm to 8.30pm A festive buffet supper is served in The Colours.

THREE-NIGHT CHRISTMAS STAY

TWO-NIGHT CHRISTMAS STAY

24th to 27th December From £3,450 for two guests

24th to 26th December From £3,000 for two guests

The three-night stay includes the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations, followed by a leisurely Boxing Day, dinner in The Colours and breakfast on the 27th December.

Christmas Eve -

24TH DECEMBER

From 3.00pm Arrival and check-in, accompanied by mince pies and mulled wine. 6.30pm or 8.30pm Three-course dinner in The Colours. 7.00pm to 10.00pm Live jazz entertainment.

Optional Experiences 11.00am Three-hour Time Out Experience at Nirvana Spa. 1.00pm, 2.30pm or 4.00pm Festive Afternoon Tea.

Optional Nirvana Spa experiences are subject to availability and additional charges.

Boxing Day -

26TH DECEMBER

Festive Dining

Breakfast Served in The Colours from 8.00am. Two-Night Guests

Gather together over seasonal menus created for leisurely celebrations with family, friends and colleagues. Advance booking is required for all festive dining at West Court Retreat.

Departure at 11.00am. Three-Night Guests The day can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace before dinner in The Colours. 6.00pm to 8.45pm Dinner is served in The Colours. Optional Experience 9.00am to 5.00pm Simply Relaxation Day at Nirvana Spa. The optional Nirvana Spa experience is subject to availability and an additional charge.

27th December

FOR GUESTS ENJOYING THE THREE-NIGHT STAY.

Breakfast Served from 8.00am to 11.00am. Departure 11.00am following breakfast.

Whether starting the day with a swim, enjoying a game of tennis or unwinding in the warmth of the sauna, West Court Retreat offers a range of facilities designed for relaxation and wellbeing throughout a Christmas stay. Guests have access to the heated outdoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and tennis courts. The drawing room offers a collection of traditional games including chess, cribbage and backgammon, providing the perfect excuse to spend time together. Whether enjoying a quiet afternoon with family or an evening drink before dinner, these spaces are made for relaxed festive moments.

Winter walks

Wrap up warm and explore the countryside surrounding West Court Retreat, which is especially beautiful on crisp, frosty winter mornings. Guests can discover the estate grounds and surrounding natural greenspace, where a network of walking routes winds through grassland and open countryside. Whether enjoying a morning stroll, some fresh air between festive celebrations or a leisurely walk after lunch, the surrounding landscape provides a peaceful escape. Walking maps are provided in all guest rooms, making it easy to discover the trails and explore the estate and surrounding countryside at your own pace.
